PACT Scholarship

This $500 Scholarship is open to Portage and surrounding area high school seniors who have participated in the arts and are planning to attend a two or four-year college. You do not have to major in the arts, although preference is given to students majoring in theater, drama, speech, music, or a related art communications field. ​

See the application document for more information.​ The application consists of a form for personal information, questions about your involvement of the arts, and a personal statement indicating your future goals beyond college. Be sure to include how the arts will play a role in your future. Let your creativity show in your statement.​

Include in addition to this application:

1. Two recommendations by persons (not relatives) who know your qualifications and aptitudes.

2. A transcript of your high school career.

3. A recent picture for publicity purposes.
